We are a group of well learned and experienced Black Professionals in Nottingham who are out to give back to the Black, Asian and Minority Ethnic (BAME) community in Nottinghamshire from our wealth of experiences and vast knowledge. At Nottingham Association of Black Professionals (NABP), our services rest on the power of our vast knowledge and experience in various sectors. We focus on making the BAME people becoming successful, positive, focused, good citizens, striving high, full of life and others
We aim to close the mentoring gap and drive equity through quality mentoring relationships for young people. Potential is equally distributed; opportunity is not. We activate a movement across sectors that is diverse and broad and seeps into every aspect of daily life. We are connecting and fueling opportunity for young people everywhere they are from schools to workplaces and beyond.
To alleviate this hardship, various initiatives have been introduced to provide hot meals for disadvantaged people.
The current pandemic has increased the mental health illness rate due to bereavement, domestic violence, lockdown, etc.

NABProfessionals was created to expand that opportunity for young people by building a youth mentoring field and movement, serving as the expert and go-to resource on quality mentoring. The result — a more than 10x increase in young people in structured mentoring relationships, from hundreds of thousands to millions.
